Message from the Houston Hoops South Director:

To the parents and players considering this incredible opportunity,

Basketball has given me so much in my life. I was fortunate to play at the college level and later coach at that same level, and through every step of that journey, I learned that the game is about far more than wins and losses. It’s about discipline, character, resilience, and believing in something bigger than yourself.

Now, I’m focused on giving back to the players right here in our area. Texas has a rich basketball tradition, and this program represents the highest standard of excellence, development, and opportunity for young athletes in our state. Being part of a prestigious and storied program means being pushed, supported, and prepared—not just for the next level of basketball, but for life beyond the game.

To the parents: your trust matters. Our goal is to develop your sons and daughters the right way—on the court, in the classroom, and as people. To the players, boys and girls alike: your dreams are valid. Whether your goal is to play in college, compete at the highest levels, or simply become the best version of yourself, this program is a place where hard work meets opportunity.
